couldnt find the inspiration to do the hard road run on my own so went to the woods with the regular Saturday crew and ran 2x 5mile laps. Very very muddy made it hard to run fast but still managed best lap times since recent return to full training.
Which was nice

12-13 miles over the Downs including three fullish ascents and two fullish decents; huge amounts of mud in a couple of places and still a fair old wind blowing. Was met by Isabel (my other half) and the kids at Ditchling Beacon with a fantastic picnic, which we ate in the car as the windows steamed up.
Cheers - Raymond
Boring but hard XC race - went fairly well just felt crap all the way 'round - last time I run in the afternoon all year I hope - give me an 8.00am start anytime...

2hrs on Clwydian Hills. Met Hairy Legs & Alan. Off swimming with the kids now.
I've just decided I don't trust you anymore.
Got bloody whipped in the eye by a tree branch during a cross country race yesterday. I finished the race ok, but my vision became severely hampered as the evening progressed, so much so that the missus ended up taking me to A & E at Crumpsall Hospital last night. No running for me today as my eye is streaming and really sore.
