16x400m with 100m jog recovery on the track with the club last night (avg 74s/rep, 36s recovery).

Hilly offroad 14 miles round the south edge of Bath today in 1h45m followed by 45mins core and flexibility work at the gym.

Tough Dark peak race last night...5 miles 2000ft including a whole 200m of paths...the rest was open moorland...followed by a sit in the river to cool off and a pint of Farmers Yellow Jersey to rehydrate

Hill reps yesterday lunchtime - steep grass 250m, ~80s/rep, jog back recovery but only 6 of them. 5.5 miles total
Run-commute through Bristol today - mostly traffic-free, mostly uphill. 6 miles.
Fell, road, track, XC... it's all good running.

Th: 3 mile run in the morning, good pace. Grindleford fell race in the evening - 51st I think (big field!) in 39:??
    F: Rest day.
S: Forest Rec parkrun - nice & hilly. 19:31 - not a PB but nice to be 3rd home on my birthday.
Su: Kinder Trog - 2:29:25 (38th). Blew up 2 miles from the end, lowing about 5 minutes & as many places. Great race but too got for me!
    M: Rest!
T: Commuting run (2.5 miles in morning, same in afternoon). Steady pace with full sack
W: Commuting run (2.5 miles in morning, 1.5 miles in afternoon). Steady again.

Today, gardening & hopefully 5-10k. Back to back short races Fri - Sun, want to keep legs fresh but moving.

Finally managed to get out last night to the club coaching session for some hill work. I haven't ran since last Saturday after a nasty illness.
Looking forward to a getting out on the bike today.

Strangely I had an ITBS flare up, very painful.. no idea why it suddenly flared up.

m: 8 mile trail run leg sore.. 4 mile road run, leg sore..
t: 5 mile run leg really sore
w: 5 mile run, leg really sore. ITB issues.. really glut medius really really weak and just not working on one side, can barely balance on one leg so just bike and core/stretch/roll for a few days. pm: 10 miles stationary bike.
    t: 20 miles stationary bike
    f: 20 miles stationary bike
s: 15 miles stationery bike. 4 mile hike Bellayre mountain catskills
s: 15 mile hike catskills, 5000 ft ascent, wittenberg, cornell, slide mt
m: 5 mile hike berkshires, MA. pm: 3.1 mile beach run leg felt OK
t: am: 3.1 mile beach run 8:30 min miling. pm: 4 mile road run 7:10 pace.. 90F felt horrid

Hopefully slowly build back up, but plan on a 50km 9000ft ascent run to set a new FKT in the white mountains this weekend… so thats touch and go...
