In Cambridge for a few days for work. Had a run through Grantchester Meadows this evening; probably my first run there since my student days, more than 30 years ago! River on one side of me, rough green meadow beneath my feet, cool refreshing wind whistling past my face. It doesn't get better then this in the flatlands. But I still prefer the routes from my home in the mountains of Leicestershire.
Hard beach and trail 17 yesterday, 10 beach miles the day before, done in my new nb 101, very comfortable
Waterfalls Walk Ingleton...I've been poorly!!...we got caught and had to pay too....

Just can't shake the shit off my chest, feel flat and weak running..
85 miles for the week, which 3 weeks out is about spot on, 90% load, just a lack of quality and a missed one last long run.
Hoping to get one last week of sharper running, 65-70 miles, maybe one last long run of 14-15 miles.
Celebrating.. another GB vest..
15 miles 6:27 pace felt good, really need to pile in the miles and hills now but sadly it means no Boston or at best, a very tired Boston
I did 19 trail and road on the way home from work last night, comfortable 7:30's with a full back pack, lovely way to get home
Great morning for a run this morning. A full 23s/mi quicker over one of my standard hilly road runs than a month ago (http://www.mapmyrun.com/workout/936252817). I'm on the way back baby!
At this rate, I'll be reinstating my care to join me runs before you know it! (Had a lovely walk over Pendle on Sunday, then hit the Lakes on Monday...I felt the itch again!!!)
