Tonight's RATRun was from The Manners in Bakewell. A bit longer than usual, 10 miles and 1,700ft of ascent over some very muddy terrain. Decent cheesy chips were washed down with Robinson's Dizzy Blonde, Rock the Cask Bar and Wizard. Robinson's get a bad rap but I like them, especially after 10 miles!
Visibility good except in Hill Fog

To Darwen via Tockholes to collect the car
    5.3 miles, 670ft, 55 mins
Donkey Brew was a mess. Must have taken a lot of rain since weekend.

Another week of around 50km and 2000m. Did a fast (for me) 5km and treadmill interval session of 8 x 2mins at 10mph. Other three runs were 10-12 km steady hill/trail runs around Portree.

A quick blast around Warley Woods on the way home from work. 3 laps of the outer path, pushing hard on the hills and a few hill reps to finish. 8km with approx 250m ascent. Let the festivities begin!

A bit muddy in places but the main grassy area is fine. Should be a fast course.

A lovely sunny Christmas morning in Warwickshire, so typically opted for a dark sweaty 6.5 uphill miles on a treadmill in a noisy gym!

Not feeling 100% but pre-entered the Devil’s Chair Dash tomorrow in Shropshire, so will make a decision on that first thing in the morning...

Elterwater - Silver Howe - Blea Rigg - NDG - White Gill - Blea Rigg - Silver Howe - Elterwater. 11 miles, 3,500 ft of up/down, gorgeous sunshine and no wind - lucky me - now starving but soon to be fed - nut roast a la Hairy Bikers and pavlova - yum!
