Slow trot round Kentmere horseshoe(11miles). Weather cool and clear, just a few spots of rain around high street. About 46 miles this week, over 30 on fells
17 mile trot down the route of an old railway line from Whickham to Shotley Bridge and back. The beer and sandwiches provided by my mate's missus when we finished were a pleasant bonus, must visit them more often
If liberty means anything at all, it means the right to tell people what they do not want to hear.

Bizarre interval training whilst supervising pupils on DoE. Drive to checkpoint, look for pupils or chalk marks, run across fells and back to car, drive on to a further checkpoint and run back to previous ones looking for chalk and pupils. rest in car and repeat. Fri and Sat. sat was evev harder afetr little sleep as pupils at up talking till all hours!
But it did allow me to run over Pendle etc several times and the weather and views were great
31 miles on the bike. Went the wrong way so it ended up as 36.....

4 hours on the bike at over 18 average - hurt a bit after over 2 weeks of sun and very little serious exercise. Right, where's mi fell shoes..............
6 hours round the Ennerdale valley yesterday so resting today. In the last month I have ran a road marathon and 2 Lakes superlongs so I think I will have me an easy week, gentle jogs with the missues before considering Wasdale and the future.

Is it meant to be this hard?
9 miles over Bowland fells. Started from fell foot fields paths to start around the farms to the west of the fells, then longish gradual climb along path to fiensdale head continued to true summit of fairsnape over saddle fell and down to saddle end farm and back to fell foot. Out for slightly less than 1hr 40mins. Weather fanatastic for running sunny with cooling breeze
Long run in S Lakes from Kirkstone- not fast but lots of navigation and route choice in preparation for SLMM. Having to be back to collect kids from a motorway drop off point certainly made us run the last bit fast. Great running weather and fantastic views
