easy recovery 6 on local trails, very warm and humid, feeling heavy after 10 miles on each of the last 2 days.
Very warm, will i survive down south?

8 miles hilly road & trail with Scunthorpe & District AC (Road running section). Could tell i've not encountered a hill for many months, i'm sure they never used to be that steep running in Bristol!
??? whether to enter this Fridays Scunthorpe 10K, not run one before, since last Thursday i've run approx. 21 miles in my quest to reclaim former glory! I'm intending to vastly improve my fitness before then attempting some fell races. It was really interesting, on the trail section (woods and a small field) I really picked up pace, on the road I was considerably slower which I guess shows how the body adapts as all my running previously was off-road.
What do you think about the 10K, too soon?
No pain no gain...if still no gain try more painkillers!
Gettin' back into it.... 6 miles or so on hilly roads yesterday, including 3 x ~500ft climbs, in 56mins. The legs feel fine today!
5 miles around the Tame Valley Park at lunchtime
Nowt, rained off! The heavens have opened here....
Two lovely runs with a bit of marshaling in the middle, first off 2.5miles and around 1000ft on the out half of the clubs Dumgoyne handicap race, stand about abit in a crazy wind near the summit, then back the same way afterwards. Knee slightly tweaky!!! Rest to Wasdale now.

Heavens opened for me on my bike ride home from work so I thought I'd have v early dinner (before 6pm) and wait for rain to ease before running, so got out for 45 mins run/splash at 8.15 - shame the heavens opened again for last few mins
4 mile in pouring rain around Pex Hill and the pastures of Cronton. Very wet and very muddy but great.
