Carrbrook, Stalybridge, up Mottram Old Road, left at top and down the back road to the round about. Back up Mottram Road passed Roe Crss and down to Stalybridge main lights. Up to main road to bottom mossley and back through the old power station. Lovely run, all on road (well pavements!) Wet for the last 8 minutes.

Now where to run this afternoon.

Will be tomorrow afternoon. on the resers if all goes to plan. Did 33 mins this afternoon from Woolley Bridge road, to the tip and along to Gamesley. Under the rail bridge, Howards park, up that steep hill, on to the trail for 20 yards, across the sloping football pitch and back to Woolley Bridge Road.

Also spent an hour at Hyde Lesuire centre. Similar to a Welsh Lesuire centre but with no sheep!

Two of us ran for 2 hours from the Bulls Head at Tintwistle this morning.
Rained most of the time, that fine rain that soaks you through!
Over Hollingworthall Moor and Hobson Moor and part of the Gravy Pud course.
Bulls Head under new management. No food yet but should be sorted by October we were told.

It has seemed to change hands a lot over the past few years

Was still closed and looking run down the other month when I was there. Glad to see it back open again. I was concerned where the David Bray race would run from and even more importantly to me, where the Gravy Pud would run from!!!!!

You enjoying the school holidays Swoop, or do you miss the nice six weeks off us teachers get? You not fancy dusting off the maths books ready for next week?
