Was going to do a 1/2 marathon Sunday but decided against it due to stiff legs and did a village fun run today where I used to live. 5K but more like 4K with a good turn out of 279. Fortunately no ringers turned up which is how I managed 2nd!! Pushed HR and found a new high of 204 with an average of 186 which means I tried. Still got stiff legs though

Nice one Ady! I celebrate hollow victories. My biggest success of the summer was winning the dad's egg and spoon at my 4 year old son's sports day. entry 8, distance 15 yards , ascent approx. 1.5 feet....... And i used my thumb. My son was truly ashamed at this and still talks about 'cheating daddy'.
