Just over 11 miles and 2250' of ascent up Ingleborough from Austwick. Did the route clockwise today heading out up Long Lane and back via Sulber Nick and Crummack. Must be a bit shorter this way as I did it in 1:40 which is 4 mins less than my previous fastest for the loop
Cold and sunny with excellent views which made for a great run. Air ambulance was out just beyong Trow Gill, was taking off as I went by, don't know what the incident was. Quite a few people out walking with full winter gear, ski poles, 90 litre sacs, etc. Heard a passing comment directed at me about it not being torrential rain - the power of the press!!
4.2 miles of undulating parkland at 0730 and 8.8 miles of varied terrain mainly flat at 1520
Hoping for a far more successful 2009
1:13:24hr Greenfield - Wimberry - Alphin (got caught out by the early arrival of night) stumbled down - thru the fields and back home....Easy pace, brilliant run, night sky fantastic

Lovely run about 5 miles over the fields at dusk last night. It was magic, crisp Autumn days are my favourite days of all
Well done OH. Trouble is dusk is very early now, for a while.

Hope things are looking up!
Might even go again today...cos...I don't feel sick! Heaven!

Oh good to hear that you are feeling a little better MG I really hope it's the sicky stage over and done with!
