4.5 miles on the Roaches. First time out on the hills since my fall - went back to have a look at where I took the tumble.

Magic. Sunshine along the ridge, and seas of fog in the valleys.

Great day on Pendle today, clear, sunny, frosty, no winds, no clag.
7 miles this morning, 5 miles this afternoon. Total climbing 3,500 feet. Great views to the snowy tops of the Three Peaks and The Lakes. Just thawing out !!!!
After climbing a great hill one only finds that there are many more hills to climb ......

A leisurely 11.75 miles (1hr 49) from home including most of the Calverley Millenium Way in the fog though cleared for a while on the 'top' that is Woodhall Hills road crossing. Just about got away with trail shoes on the muddier sections.

30 minutes in Florence this morning. Not seen much of the city. Seen a big river. Weather as bad as at home but not as cold. 10oc. Marathon tomorrow morning at 9.20am. My number is eitgher 25 or 9 (Dont ask) and if you have nothing to do you can check my progress every 5k on www.tds-live.com
That could be the kiss of death now I posted a link to live updates. Setting off at 3.12 min per k. You do the maths, but it equals a 2.14.30ish!!!
    Here goes nothing!

I had a lovely day reccying leg two. Weren't the conditions superb Fleeter?

Fog in the valleys, Stoodley in sunshine.

Bit tired now though. Going to lie down and drink lots of wine.

Good to see you back out Andy

I had a magic day over Bleaklow. Stunning isn't a strong enough word.

Brocken spectre by Torside clough, lots of Mountain Hares, hardly any one about, breathtaking
