26 miles on bike, 7 mile run. Didn't sweat at all!
Fantastic morning in the snow along Dragon's Back, over Mount Famine and South Head to Brown Knoll trig and back. Some fantastic views of Kinder with the clouds below us and a dark, almost navy blue, sky.
1 hr 50 mins to do under 7 miles, 1200" of climb, slow git! Over Weets still some nice fresh snow but some horrible knarly ice as well. Started fine on a usual route and was enjoying the clear sky and setting sun but then.... bit of right to roam off piste stuff over towards Pendle. I can tell you 6 inch of snow on top of deep heather and bog quickly looses its appeal. What a pillock! Anyway it must be good for my core strength of something! On balance I suppose I enjoyed it despite virtually walking or stumbling for a couple of miles.
Hour off-road tonight with club including most of usual suspects; mostly without headtorches. Slippy on canal tow-path, magical elsewhere in the snow! Oh, beer and chips in pub after!
