An hour down the gym this morning. Half cardiovascular training and half a strength circuit. Going to try and wedge a run in this evening if I can get the christmas shopping done in time.

    Re: Today's Training

A trip up the Dales this morning. Only a 50 minute drive to Horton and then off up Pen-Y-Ghent in the clag with one of the locals. Over to Plover still in the clag before dropping down onto the track heading back to Horton. By this time the sun had broken through allowing fine views over to Ingleborough. I decided to re-visit the summit seeing as I could see it this time round and left Stolly (Mr Pen-Y-Ghent!) to head back down the stony track into the village. Quite a few walkers ambling about on the way back up via the race route and with the sun on my back I had to resist the urge to run bare chested. The views from the top were actually available this time round and continued to be so as I bimbled down to Brackenbottom. Finished with a good soak in the stream near the school, was almost like a summers day (well, maybe spring). Just shy of 2 hours out on my trotters.

20mins warm up, 20 mins temp and 10 mins cool down, night run in the mist, The Chew.....easier to run without the headtorch due to the mist.....Polar HR monitor went nuts, hopping between 00 reading and 228 Hr!!!! Service time me'thinks...
