    Re: Today's Training

Will try to start using this to build up incentive. Am coming back slowly as I am still managing injury

Official start back to training 3rd

3rd Jan - Ovenden Fell race 8.5ish miles - Sweating Port and cheese from xmas all way round.
    4th Jan - Todmorden Cyclocross ( 1 hour racing, lapped by Rob Jebb x 3 )
5th Jan Ilkley moor moonlight race 3.5 navigational route, (did about 4.5 I think, bloody Brett and his navigational races)
    6th - knackered
    7th - knackered and working
8th Jan - 6 mile club training run Greehnhead, Jubilee hill, Green Lane and return, hard finish at end (for me anyway)
9th - saving self for sat
10 Jan - 15.5 Rombalds stride recce run with club , Weechers Res following route over Ilkley moor to Chevin turn off and short cut back to Weechers. (Ankles ache).
11th Jan - 17 miles on bike - Keighley, connelly, Skipton (was supposed to be 30) 4 miles jog with bike and flat tire. (Forgot my tyre levers!). Spent afternoon watching National cyclocross Championships at Bradford. (Jebb got comprehensively beaten, hah - shouldn't have passed me so much then at Tod, seriously a damn good race).

2nd training run of 2009 - 1st one was 10 days ago on New Years Day!!
Been struggling with the lurgy for past 10 days, so was good to get out and get the lungs working again. 1 hour trot round Ossy Moors and Musberry Heights - just about dark when I got back but didnt resort to the headtorch - that can wait till Tuesday with the Badgers!

Dangerously windy over here, 70mph+ gusts. Hour on the turbo for me.
