No, not so bad. Warmer than it initially felt. Just under 4 miles, quite hilly, but all road. Trying to keep my feet as stable as possible while I pick the mileage up again.

Stopped half way round for a few exercises in a park (4x6 pull ups, 4x20 burpees).

Got home, did some weights in the garage. Just back in now: got my breakfast on the go (big bowl of sugar puffs, couple of slices of wholemeal toast + marmalade, couple of pain au chocolates) and the bath running

    Re: Today's Training

Got back late last night after returning from North East visiting my wife's relatives.
I did manage to escape for a couple of hours though and do part
of the Guisborough Moors fell race route (great fell race by the way - Apr 5).
I finished off with a very slippery ascent/descent of Roseberry Topping
(a hill not a dessert ) then crawled back to my car exhausted.

Got back to the relatives and fell asleep in the chair

30.14 miles/4731ft in 6 hours 28 mins. Water Stalls road, near Crow Hill farm was fun, broke the ice with my weight and ended up thigh deep in icy water. From then on it became misty and finding my way over Rishworth Moor to Green Withins res was a bit of an adventure. Visibilty down to 20 yards and ended up in bogland big style. Once back down to Booth Wood res it was plain sailing apart from getting within a mile of home and finding i'd only clocked 25 miles. Forced to do a loop over Norland Moor to add another 5 miles. Finished with a dip in the river whilst eating my last mini pork and pickle pie, and i had 2 marmite teacakes on the way round as well (Just for Al Fowler)

Bloody good run but glad to back home and heading for the bath
    Hey Merrylegs,

Seems you are making great progress for the running year ahead!
Well done you!...and finishing in great ML style too with the pork pie in hand!
