    Pfft, who needs to train.

Just stick to short races and you can get away with ZERO training, works for me anyway.

10 miles over Norland Moor, down to Copley, up to Greetland, back over Norland Moor to Ripponden, nice sunny early morning run.

5.5 miles around my bog standard hilly run on Wednesday night in 57 minutes (could be a new world record ) and getting on for 8 miles on a slightly hilly off road club run with Skipton AC last night, which included a fantastically fetid, junglely, nettlely and swampy run along a very overgrown disused railway track (69 minutes give or take).

Cracking couple o' hours yesterday first thing on Bowland fells. Started at Fell Foot then up Parlick before some ups and downs ending up at Fiendsdale. Visited site of WWII Liberator wreck that went down in August '44. Crew were only 22 & 25yrs, v. sad.

A bit more exploration on the top then back. ~800m of climb in all.

    Most pleasant.

Ran to Bolton Abbey and back on the Dales Way yesterday tea-time (8ml perhaps). Walked home about 4ml from pub in lovely refreshing summer rain last night

Early doors run this morning. Holme village up to Holme Moss then a few variations around Black Hill, Tooleyshaw and Bareholme. 2 1/2hrs, ~900m of climb. Not a soul to be seen and cloudy out. Was back at home having a cup o' tea before 10am. Magic!
