    Re: Todays Training

Can last night count as todays?

Ran over .... well slowly jogged to great hill from Brinscal last night with head torches, just started back this last week or so after injury. Feeling very unfit and slow, need to keep motivated! Good fun in the dark though, much more fun than roads

Moved again. Curry shop in Hollingworth is better than Carrbrook!

    Yesterday same as last Tues:

7 miles yesterday lunch time and then interval trainning 7-8.00 in the evening with Milton Keynes AC (so all on the flat unless you count the bridges over the Grand Union canal).

    Cheers - Raymond

p.s. intervals were 6x4mins with 2min recoveries also the same as last week.

Did a 6 miler at lunch time - blowing a gale out there, but doesn't seem so bad now. Wind in my face for the first half, very tough, but certainly enjoyed the return journey

Brilliant run today - four of us did one of our 'regulation' lunchtime xcountry routes, but the river had burst its banks. Ended up wading through waist-high water in places. The best bit came when we had to get over one of the drainage ditches at one of the field boundaries where I managed to find the bottom and ended up going for a full-emmersion. The other thought I had simply tripped and followed me - very funny.

    Best fun had in ages.
