Nice one Alf, I remember the terrain well from earlier this year!

Just popped out for a 10k fartlek down the boring old flat roads down here.

1.5mile max effort test on the track for Phys Ed lesson tomorrow, don't think I'll be anywhere near my April time.

Just back from a hot 11 miler over Ramsden Clough, down the Holme Valley, up Marsden Clough to Wessenden Head, over West Nab & Don the water courses to Slawit. Just over 2000ft & 2 Hours. Time for a gallon of water!

Need to find some speed for the Evil Sheriff Off-Road Duathlon in October so embarking on the good old Tabata protocol... did first session this evening... forgot how much it hurts but at least it's over quickly. Oh well, X5 per week for 6 weeks isn't too long.

    1 down 29 to go......

8 miler over steep hills, the first for nearly 4 weeks and it felt hard, but it's always the first hill run back that hurts the most. club run tomorrow.

1.5 mile sprint on the track this aft, coupled with a nice stint in the pool this evening.

nik, have you done Tabata before? Are you cycling or running or both?
