Hopefully the weather's still OK tomorrow so I can get a bigger run in early on.

    Re: Today's Training

Had a poor summer not much impetus more basic exercise than training, too much wine and rubbish food, times right down and fared badly in things such as 3px though I still have the fitness to get round. Have made an effort to reverse this over last 2 weeks so

Tuesday 12th - 8 miles with club steady, felt crap
Wed 13th - 6 miles headtorch run, bit better
Thurs 14th- hill reps - not too bad
Sun 17th - Bradford half marathon (very hilly) am
    5 miles torch run, pm.
Mon 18th - 3 mile run Kildwick Duathlon (only one not to chicken out)
Tues 19th - 7 mile club run tired but getting fitter
Wed 20th - 6 mile torch run, totally shagged
Sat 22nd - Calder valley rd 16 miles
Sun 23rd - 10 miles off road run

Drinking less wine, still eating crap though.

Only call it as I see it . Could make claims my training was based on a scientific approach and then refuse to justify it ( Inov insider disease if left can turn into CLeighitis) or take umbrage at your comments and stamp my foot in pique (Brightside syndrome) or just shrug your comments off in the assumption you are total t*t but you are right I think grumpiness is the way to go and the new black.

    Bah humbug

If you leave I may consider it (couldn't stand the hissy fits) - however you do realise if i get really fit Wharfedale will be trying to pinch me from the mighty KCAC which I understand is their standard operating procedure. However most new signings immediately contract prolonged injuries and are unable to do long distances or take up swimming so I will stay where I am - but thanks for the offer.
