Short but hilly run with the dog this morning. About 20 minutes, no idea of distance as it was in the trees and GPS signal was patchy. Really nice underfoot, almost entirely frozen wih just enough give for traction - but didn't need to wash the kit or dog upon return.

Hoping to get out for a bit longer in the morning,3am feeding frenzy/screaming tantrums dependant!

    Congrats on your baby.

You will soon realise what a great incentive for training children are. A great reason to leave the house for a bit of short lived peace.

Just got back from an 8.5 mile headtorch run with TussockFace & The Baildon Posse ! Beautiful crisp evening. Saw the moon peeping over Baildon Moor. Good to meet you at last TF. Hope the ankle's ok ?

Limping about at the moment, Jez! Hope the ibu gel sorts me out by morning.
Otherwise, a very enjoyable run and good to meet you too.

A chilly circuit from Ribblehead over Whernside and then Inglebugger via Hill Inn, returning over Park Fell.

Plenty of ice on the paths, particularly on the flagged sections.

Very cold coming off Inglebugger, water freezing in drinking bottles and pipes

    Re: Today's Training

Ran home from work just before dark. Took it really easy but ended up doing quite a quick 10k for me 6.4 miles, 200' (OK it's more the other way), 0:55:30. Felt good today - does anyone else have unpredictable days when they just float along and then realise they've gone faster than they thought? And does anyone know the secret of making these happen on a race day??
