12.2 miles social run round Mersea Island, partly on the beach but mostly on the sea wall. Total climb therefore about 20 m - i.e. on and off the sea wall four or five times. Visibility in fog 50 - 100 m at start (10.20), slightly more at finish (12.20).

Did 6m or so this morning and had a look round, didn't see anything, took a survival bag and such just in case but the clag was down so could've been within 20ft and still missed him. Tried a few of the more remote sections, a few isolated becks, and some of the crags but no sign. Hopefully he's not up there and is in fact somewhere safe.
Update from T and A below. Still missing. Hope he's found somewhere warm and safe

Doing well for daylight runs this past week - just back from Dovestones Edge, Foxstone, Plantation run....
Consider yourself lightly; consider the world deeply.

Whittle Pike Fell race route, then out and around the fells. Tough!!
The Fells made me run you know!!
4 miles and c. 800 feet on Hadleigh Downs. A very low key race. Marvellous way to end the year.
Might not be related but they have found a man's body in the canal at East Morton (which is just on the edge of the moor) so I suspect this may be the guy. Sad end to the year for the family.
