First run of the year tomorrow. Starting from The Cow & Calf, 10 miles around Ilkley Moors, hopefully. Still wheezing like Ivor The Engine, so the wife's not best pleased. Needs must. I've got my entries in for the Wharfedale Off Road Marathon & Trollers Trot so far. 3 P's entries open on Friday & it's the Rombalds Stride in early Feb, so I can't hang about !

1 hour 15 mins for that route Tom, some going that fella - you're going well, you'll be giving Road Runner a run for his money

Quick trip through Plantation and ascent /descent of Wimberry today, great to get out

Back with a vengeance after a frustrating 4 days off. 13 miles from The Cow & Calf in Ilkley, over the moor to West Buck Stones, through High Moor Plantation to Black Pots. The view from here is stunning, overlooking Sislden & in the far distance Pendle Hill. First time I've run this particular section. Then back over Addingham High Moor & Ilkley Moor via Badger Stone to The C & C. Cracking run !

Simple 3.5mile recovery run tonight, stretch the legs out. 350ft of climb, hardly worth mentioning.....

8 Hilly miles (circa 59mins) on road done last night with the club. Good session with about 1000ft of climb, not bad for the roads

Yippee. a good run tonight, pacey, rough, bashy and climby

only 7 miles but I felt loads stronger. still not up to full fittness by any means but I see a light at the end of the tunnel.

Long hilly run planned for Saturday, only time will tell if I finish that one, race Monday, then lakes the weekend after.
