    Outside ankle ligaments

As far as i can see this set of ligaments has never been threaded but i'm experiencing a bit of irritation below the joint when my ankle rolls inwards which is contrary to what you may think. The last two training runs i've done have been over really tough ground so i'm hoping a bit of trail running will settle it down, is this indicative of a syndrome of some sort because i'll sell my soul to satan before i come down with another long term problem.

Mr B, you've barely run for 6-7months then go out twice over rough ground. Its not surprising that your ankles are groaning at you really is it?

Sounds like posteromedial impingement as a result of anterior talofibular ligament deficiency. Get it checked.

Found out what the deal is with this type of injury today. An eversion sprain giving rise to lateral not medial pain is bone grinding on bone and trapping tissue in the process. No ligaments involved though it does feel very much like an LCL sprain.
