    Was Eccentric having a go at Grouse there and if so why? The query was about cheapish but effective kit and the Yeomans stuff is certainly seviceable although it doesn't cost loads or have a fancy name. I happen to know that Grouse has never used his on any long events with the likelihood of bad weather, although with taped seams it would likely pass any kit check - why "bollocks to the organise etc. if they afre only rying to enforce a minimum for safety?".
    I'm gonna get that cwazy gwouse...

    Absolutely not!

    More suggesting it is the individuals responsibility to carry adequate clothing.

    It should be down to the race organiser, the FRA or anybody else, that was the point I was trying to make.

    I am sure that your really mean it should NOT be down to the race organiser, the FRA or anybody else....

    Individual responsibility always applies whenever anybody ventures into a potentially dangerous situation.

    Over regulation by race organisers or the governing body is also a serious concern.
