How well does Twin Peaks stand up nearly 20 years later? I watched it avidly when it was first on but I've always been concerned that it'll be dated and awful now?

I saw the end of season 4 recently and thought it was pretty good.

Hang on hang on.....season 4?? I've not missed it have I? I thought only 1-3 have aired in this country?

Having worked our way through the Wire (brilliant) we're now working our way through the West Wing (brilliant too, but not as consistently as the Wire). 24 went rubbish after season 4 or 5 so what next? Any recommendations?

Its just utterly brilliant. Especially loved series 2 - by which time most people had become utterly confused by it all.
