PS -Apparently the 10 mile trail race couse got a really good review in some new runing magazine - there was meant to have been a big picture of Ged Nevan (the Rossendale rocket) too.

Well yes you'll be familiar with the 1st mile or so and the run in is similar to the Radcliffe 12 finish....but down into Prestolee is not somewhere where I have run before..should be fun, back down the towpath and a loop around to make up the 10K, off the towpath, up the short hill and a track finale.
Radcliffe can never be accused of doing the same race year on year! This must be going on for double figures..for different race routes I've known, 5K,5M,12M,10M,10K etc.
