Great route again. Don't know how they find these routes. Mourne Peaks next year..another race with a 'substantial amount of running'...I guess that'll be the Dam wall then..

Did anyone measure the total ascent, felt more than 1250m.

Great race and weekend as usual.

Three travelling clubs provided excellent support for the race - Eryri (18 runners) : Dark Peak (18 runners) : Calder Valley (15runners)

Agree with the sentiments about the "substantial amount of running". Never done so little running in a race and I am convinced it was more than the advertised climbing. Wonderful scenery, good organisation and friendly supportive marshalls, but race was a personal nightmare from start to finish.
Vowed never to return. See you next year .

Narr, I was up bright and early.

If we hadn't been going to the Giants Causway I would have been out with your loving hubby and the 2 mad Irish lads in the 7.30am Mourne Stakes

What a weekend. Proper fell running on good hills. None of yer fast fields and gates stuff here.

Everyone was so friendly it has to be one of the best venues.

    PS
Would be an excellent spot for the FRA relays (But not in October) August Bank Hoilday weekend would be good) Just a thought

You lead the way my friend; Haven't washed my face since your tender lick in the pub. Were you drunk? Thinking about it, you CV guys are ever so friendly: Mounsey grabbed my crotch and Paul smacked my ass (not at the same time I might add).
