Thank you to the marshals who gave encouragement along the route and made it clear where they were by waving madly/shouting -much appreciated! Especially to the finish funnel marshalls for standing in that awful weather to time us in, give us water and shake our hands and say "well done".
Well, the "well done" should be for you guys for putting on such an excellent race-many many thanks! I hope to return for more Irish races if they are as good as this!
Gala pie-its the future
Helen Fines of Calder Valley Fell Runners descending to Ben Crom during the British Championship Race at the Silent Valley. Helen won the women's race in 2:01:14 followed by Jasmin Paris of Carnethy in 2:01:49and Charlotte Morgan also of Carnethy in 2:04:36. Forty two women took part in the race.
