    Magnificent Eastnor Castle 7

I'm planning on running this race organised by Twister's club Ledbury Harriers and taking place in the foothills of the Malverns on Sunday 18 April. (I'll be en route home from a few days in S Wales).

Looks a good race - http://www.ledburyharriers.org.uk/in...or7/index.html - I'm particularly looking forward to the "'Orrible' climb to the Obelisk."

I know Sore legs & Circle were showing interest in running it, anyone else?

Usually the parking and the start are really close together, there are a couple of tents for the race organisers not sure if you can leave kit there but as the car park is very close this shouldn't be an issue.

    Hi MT & T,

I had applied for this race but due to family illness on the in-law side I am going to have to spend the weekend in London so will not be able to attend now.

The weekend after though 25/4 I will be doing the Shobdon 6 if either of you are looking at doing that?

Also 15/5 is the Black Mountain Challange if you are going to be around the area then.

Hi sore legs, sorry to hear about ther family illness.

Unfortunately I'm only around the area for this one race - currently at sister's in Cardiff before a day on Gower then the B Beacons for a couple of days before the race on Sunday. Just hope I don't overdo my planned Friday walk/run up Pen y Fan etc!!

Cracking weather for today's race which was enjoyable despite being a bit too fast, and with too much hard track in the early stages for my liking. Enjoyed the 'fell' section after the obelisk though.

How did you get on Circle?

I finished in 55.52. I didn't hang around for too long apart from chatting to a guy from my first ever club 30 years ago - Banbury Harriers.

Glad you had a good race - I have a crap foot injury so decided against running on Friday. Down to zero mileage for the next month so all my plans are scuppered I'm afraid.
