Picked up my first tic today whilst running on Black Combe. That's pretty early for up here. There has been a fair amount of info around about the danger of tic bites. If you put 'tic bites' on your search bar then you will find enough info to keep you busy for a while.

Me and eldest daughter caught them last year and had a competition to see who could grow theirs the biggest, they were like pets
Just been informed that it should be spelled 'tick'. Problem is that "picked up my first tick" sounds like my wife has just congratulated me for some daft thing or other like washing up. By the way I think the 'tick' (note spelling) was a female because of its size.
