Brilliant race well organised and tough as hell and the weather was top 2.

I'd like to thank the organisers for yesterdays race especially the marshalls out on the tops who were excellent. I'd never done the race before but really enjoyed the real mix of terrain and after such a dry few weeks it was a bit of a shock to see so much water. Great photo's by Al Tye as usual and finishing in the sunshine was a fitting end to great run.
Back home now. I too would like to thank the oragnisers and marshalls for a great race. Really enjoyed it and will be back next year :-)
Had a great time at the race on Saturday, the kids were sufficiently entertained although it seems they spent much of the time queueing for face painting only to find the face-painter packed up just when it was nearly their turn! They enjoyed the climbing wall though.
Disappointed to find my name is missing from the results though (http://www.wfra.org.uk/). Anyone know who I can contact to rectify this? I wouldn't normally be too bothered, but I need this to qualify for Borrowdale.
Mine was missing too. I've contacted them and it seems there was a problem with the computer program which affected the Junior results too. It's being resolved so the results should be updated soon.
Who's 'aving this tomorrow? I'll be there
I'll be there to really enjoyed it last year especially wading through the reservoir !
I'll be there. Great mountains and race :-)
Hope it brings a good a field as it's a true fell runner's course I believe, not that long in distance but the route's toughness makes up for that and the intensity you run at over that distance and ascent makes it tough.
The descent off Moelwyn Bach to Stwlan and descent off Moel yr Hydd to Cwmorthin can be very tricky if you dont know it and Craig ysgafn between the two Moelwyns is not for the faint hearted :-) ;-) the fast run-out and run-in also can determine how the mountain run goes for you to. Seee you there :-)
