I was going to give this a miss because I bike to work, that was until I discovered that it is within the rules to use the pedometer during recreational activities not just for commuting.

So - here is my perfect incentive to kick off my two to three runs a day training program

Hmmm. Monmouth to London is 144 miles, so I'd better set off home today to be sure of getting back here by Monday!

Burton to Nottingham is 26 miles each way - reckon I could cycle it once a week if I can figure out a decent route that doesn't involve roads where the average speed is probably over 80!

Well I work 132 miles from home, but reckon I can manage the 4 miles to/from train stations next week... Oh wait! I do that every week already
