That's is one of the most classic and challenging races in the calendar. Cracking end to the season and usually Joss is pottering around the show ground.
Oh, that race is only second to the Ben for hammering the quads.

Watched the Embsay race and Jimmy had to work hard for the win. Should be good to watch at Wasdale. Couldn't believe he took Ted on the descent!

I can, Embsay is a long XC descent, not Ted's home ground.

This is how i think it might go assuming nobody else bags the win- Ted is going to have to hang onto Jimmy up to the turn, i reckon Jimmy might get there first. Ted is going to have to take Jimmy on the scree and maintain the gap all the way down the grass, i think it'll be won or lost in the last 1000'.

Tough call but Jimmy is absolutely flying at the minute. If it comes down to pure speed over the last few hundred metres Jimmy will win. If Ted can get a gap he might well hold on for victory.

More exciting than soccerball for sure!

After the AGM which is on 14 Feb.

No rush yet, Sedbergh Gala will be the first race and that's not until Mid May.

I need to get fit first.
