    Re: Opportunity

suppose its a little like a trade-off...they will learn the commercial side of the trade and gain expeirence too.

It's supply and demand for design jobs. I've seen c.v's offereing to work for free for a few months just to get the foot in the door.

Anyway Inov8 must know the crack as they seem pretty sucessful. hehe

Do Inov8 already have a designer?
If not then who are they going to learn the trade from? Trust me you take a graduate and they will struggle to do the job, what you learn design wise at college/uni is not much use in the real world!

Seems to me that Inov8 what someone who can do two jobs and are looking for a graduate so they get this person on the cheap.

This is the same wage I pay my labourers, with no experience or qualifications.

Come on Inov8, have a look at the Drum, Creative Review etc and see what wages you should be paying a designer!
Should try being an full time freelance outdoor instructor.

Qualified in several disciplines over many years. All around the world.
Marketing and ICT skills, along with accounts.
    People Skills, Mechanic
    etc etc.

Not much return, but get a job you love doing and you dont have to work again...
