Does anybody know if they let guests run (from clubs competing in that match) in the 5000m? I've a feeling that clubs can run more than their 2 runners but I'm not 100% sure.

I've never known there to be guests allowed to run in a Northern League match (and I've been doing them since 1986!). However, if they let you run, good luck. I'm at the match at Liverpool (Div 3W) - at present Oxo's got me down for the 800M'B' That'll be my first 800M since 2002 - so am not looking forward to it... but I'll give it a go

Standard practise at Midland track league. Guests are allowed in 3/5k and 'chase. You have to be prepared to start on the second row to give the points scoring runners the best start positions, which is fair enough really.

I was meant to be running at Wavertree in the chase but I've cried off. My legs are protesting about the three peaks for some reason

It was ok notintafells was hoping for quicker but was the 1st race of the season, wind wasnt that bad really

Which club are you then? Must be Liv H, Barrow, Lancaster, Southport or Northern IOM! Not sure who we've got in the Chase, but we normally do OK in that!
