    Smile Coniston gullies

    Great race today, lovely weather which made a super atmosphere.

    I agree, cracking day.
    Nice to run up a real hill, quality climb and decent.

    Just no proper fell running weather RAIN which woulnt of gone a miss today.

    Nonsense Scott........I want it to stay dry...its much less depressing....plus, you can get better grip descending

    Right about the grip, but i love the ground abit moisture it just a wee but drained little too hard to run on now for ones likings.

    I wouldnt argue with you and yes I would enjoy it that isnt my point, I just thought we were bordering on the old "proper" fell race argument again and both calenders are what they are in equal merit
