    Hip problem from running

    Hey Guys

I have been out of running for 6 months now with tendinitis in my hip and toe mainly thanks to adding too much distance to my runs in too short a time. I have just managed to start training again and am getting no pain or soreness (thank god!) but am getting this weird flicking in my hip every time I let my leg fall when I bring my knee up to my chest. There is no flicking when I am out on my runs, just when I purposefully move my leg around in an exaggerated manner - say during some dynamic stretches.

Does anyone have any ideas what this could be and if it is a problem how i could treat it.

    Thanks

I mean this really constructively... but, er, don't do it then?
