One of the guys from Dale lost his Walsh at half way point, should have tied his bum bag round his foot!!
Sounds like a proper fell race that!

I hear M carried on to the end, running 5 miles with only one shoe. I'm really jealous at missing out on this race.

Well done to RR on a cracking time and to everyone for completing a tough course under what must have been energy sapping and slippery conditions.
Biriani for endurance, pathia for speed.

god that's where I'm going wrong then. Instead of eating loads and a glass of wine I should be on the turbo trainer after a race.... lol

Great that Peter Butterworth is still alive and working at the Crowden Campsite (thought he was long dead):

(I was willing him to say "a pound each" but he never did.

Great race, absolutley loved it. The rain in the week made it more interersting

Managed to lose my left shoe in a bog after about 10 minutes but all in all an enjoyable run!

Well done to RR on a great win

    Great race yesterday.

You have now all seen invisible; I was the lone spectator on the run in from Black Hill. (Decided not to run after bad cold for two weeks, but wished I had when I saw you all bounding down the hill)

RR was miles ahead and gave me a funny look when I cheered him on. Then there was a pack of runners having a real battle over the peat for top ten positions.

Recognised quite a few forumites from their avatars, but unfortunately didn’t get to speak to any of you.

Shows how “dry” it has been with the superb times of the top ten

Well done Springfield Ladies third team (very close)

Bit of a pile up at the start, wished I'd started from the front, but didn't want to get mown down!
Thought the course was very runnable, and the bogs weren't too bad.
I enjoyed the bath in the river at the end.
Most surprised to win a prize, but only cos I'm an old bird!

Thanks for a good day Des. You seemed to be smiling all day.
RichT-sorry I missed you but Mr Invisible caught site of you at the start.

Well done RR for setting a new course record.

Let's hope for a bit more rain to loosen up the ground.
