yes remember , fell runners always ask and stop if neccesary if a fellow runner has fell , a few more days rain and you would have been waist deep , if you had been hurt i would have stopped
your ankles will strengthen in time , i remember bombing past you lot on that downhill technical bit just before you fell then a gang of you all came past me .

You must have been using XRunner's theory - see the Fairfield thread!

As mentioned, I had a little jog 'round the course yesterday - very pleasant, if a little wet.

Remarkably very little sign of a fell race there 2 days before...apart from the fact I found and picked up not one, but 2 New Balance fell shoe soles that had obviously come 'unstuck' from their shoes - one just after Black Hill, one about a mile before the finish. Matching pair, size 11/2, little sign of wear. If you want to pick them up they're on the bench just behind the carpark by the loos

I don't know, the rubbish some fell runners leave behind....

Some runners put their heart and soles into this sport don't they?

How come Swoop missed that one?

    Crowden Horseshoe

Crowden coming up on 25 May. Who's up for it? Haven't been out there since Lad's Leap - any details on the state of the course? I guess a bit dry up there right now.

Always one of my favourites this, I can't wait.
