Thanks Des and all the marshalls and sheriffs. A great day for it - it's a great run off Tooleyshaw. Nearly missed the turn off for the quarry (again). Oops.

You had a cracking run, well done, a great run in fending off the glossopdale flyer.
Another brilliantly organised race from Des.
It was very cold early on but certainly only vest weather. I managed to get into a nice position at Laddow Rocks. You can get held up a bit there and it gets a bit technical in places.
Well done Emma 2nd lady
Ian I thought you did very well, 3 peaks and downfall and crowden. Thats a good effort mate.
I looked at my watch at the quarry and realised a sub 1hr 10 was on the cards. A bit of crazily fast descending and I just manged to nip under.
Grouse can you tell me your training plan for your good form.
I have added some photos on the link below - I think I included most people although some runners caught me out when they missed the flags on the descent and ran down behind me!

Thanks for the photos Shaun. I wondered who was taking them near the end.

Are the results anywhere online yet?
I'm glad you had a good run Daz after having gip with your knee. I haven't been doing much racing this year but train ing quite well, one thing I haven't done much of is long distance stuff since the HPM though. Don't think I would have beaten Marko if he hadn't done Coniston but I'm still going to dine out on it for as long as I can!
