His 'ThankYou For The Days' book is quite good

It tells of his meetings with David Bowie, his invite to Kate Bushes house!!!, etc.....

'Twas Heaven by Talking Heads. As to where the chap came from, was in a noisy hotel lobby so not clear. Sounded from the NE, but what do I know? North of Stevenage and everyone sounds the same.

Using my extensive sherlock holmes detective skills I have just worked out that R2 must stand for that 'groovy' radio station Radio 2 with The Chain presumably being a 'hip' program thereon. Am I right?

Right, so we have Heaven by Talking Heads. So what comes next?
OK. Talking Heads were led by David Byrne who has also worked with Brian Eno so the next record in the chain is:
Seven Deadly Finns by Brian Eno

    Next!

    'Heaven' was #1782

    'Finns' was #1768

'Heaven' was followed by.... The Sweet & 'Hell-Raiser' (from heaven to hell)

Almost, 'The Chain' is part of a superb Radio 2 programme that is transmitted between the hours of 20:00 to 22:00, from Monday to Wednesday, & is fronted by Mark Radcliffe & Stuart Maconie (2 Lancashire lads)
