Starts from Bryncrug, 3pm, out and back race to just before the summit, around 4 miles. The hills only 300 and something metres high so it'll be a short burst. Winning time is normally around 26-28 mins I think.
Not seen too much else. Planning on doing it.
The Host club is www.brodysynniac.co.uk not done it before but will be there for this years.
It's only 10 mile down the road and it's part of the Bryncrug carnival, so will be good for the kids.
Quite a tough record to beat 25min something!!
Thanks, hope to give it a go, my time will be more in the region of an hour though!
Thanks. I think the organisers were chuffed to have the likes of Sam Smith and Iain Ridgway there.
Great course, it had everything fell, trail, road and even urban style racing with whith a few hurdles that Sam cleared with ease :-)
Doing yourself down again! 43mins was great!!!

Great little race, really nice low key event. First time I've raced twice in a week since NY's day. Great T shirt too.
Bit of a hectic start, but Sam had the solution. Good battle between you and Sam. Couldn't believe how quickly you two got going on the descent, just as I turned I caught a glimpse and that was it.
Now for the Druid, should be a few from Eryri coming up.
See you a week Saturday for the big one....the nerves are really kicking in now....
