June 3rd/4th, 6:45pm start, clockwise, 23:30 schedule
Support mostly sorted
but still short of a navigator for Leg 2 (in the dark)
(actually, Leg3 nav wouldn't go amiss either )
PM me your email address if interested...

Have you thought about setting off later, I imagine L1 is easier to nav in the dark than L2, so you might get more offers if you start at 11pm?
I think it is more a date issue than anything - both Duddon and Ennerdale are on the 4th June. DTS is a top bloke - I have run over this leg at night with him in blizzards and would have jumped at navigating it for him if it didn't clash.
Happy to help with leg 5 if you need it DTS!?
andyb - believe you me, I've thought about every conceivable start time but 6:45pm is now set in stone.
I'm co-contending with another guy (maybe two!) and we have most of our support covered - just a couple of minor gaps on the un-sexy night/early morning legs...
Jim - don't remind me! [shudders] although tbf I don't think it was a full-on blizzard, and due to my wussiness we only made it as far as Helvellyn - I'm hoping any conditions in the first week of June will be slightly easier...
Leg 5 should be well populated, but you'd be more than welcome

Ian - I've PM'd you...
re Fairfield - I'll be recceing it soon, probably trying the Cofa Pike route as I've never done that before, and will decide after that...

I now have a volunteer for Leg 2 nav - a "top man" by all accounts
final piece of the jigsaw would now be a Leg 3 navigator
it's an early hours start, but road support has promised an abundance of bacon butties...

Mind you, a lot of teams seem to find quite a few more bumps than they expected!
DTS - the only tricky nav part of Leg 3 is from High Raise to Rossett Pike, once you are on the ramps going up Bowfell you are on the main walkers' paths for the most part so nav isn't a problem.
