Well, I dropped my pair of Walsh PB Ultra extreme in at the company on Monday.
Two week turn round time.
I will report on quality when picked up then when used.

Anyone had mudclaws resoled there? Sole on my 270s is on the way out.
Picked up on time as agreed.
Looks a good job, plus 6 month guarantee for all their workmanship.
Just need a race or two now with shoes that fit like a glove and brand new studs.
I got my Montrail Highlanders (sadly a discontinued line) resoled with LSR studs for my Paddy Buckley round (last weekend) and they were perfect - good grip and no changes to the overall feel of the shoe in spite of the resole. The studs wore down quite a bit on the round which suggests a combination of rough ground (which it certainly was!) and quite soft/sticky rubber, which was why they gripped well.
I'd recommend the service at LSR to anyone and for future long distance events I'm thinking of buying a low profile, stable trail shoe and getting one of their studded soles put onto it = the idea being to have a bit more cushioning than an out and out fell shoe but with good grip.

Anybody had fell soles put onto road shoes, apparently they can do that. How well does it work?
"And what joy think ye, did they feel after the exceeding long and troublous ascent"
Are these still the boys when it comes to resoling Fell shoes...?
I have a pair of VJ Irocks and the uppers are in near enough perfect condition... I assume these guys can put either a Walsh or a LSR sole onto them? From reading above, I don't think there's anywhere that would put a mudclaw sole on them?
My plan is to purchase the new VJ Xtreme and then send the Irocks off to be resoled.
Can they turn my walshes into Hokas? I'm expecting a dry winter.
I emailed them today. They will (quite understandably) only put a Walsh sole on a Walsh shoe, so I can have their own-brand LSR sole on my irocks if I want.
Just bought the new VJ Xtrm from Kong in Keswick. They felt good, although definitely roomier than the irocks (I had to go down a half size). But I intend to get every last bit of grip out of the irocks before I start using the new ones.
Can they put a new upper on my Roclite soles? :-)
