    Exclamation One for the men

Ok, this is a very personal one, and perhaps not the place everyone would go and spurt this out....but since its 99% men theres a good chance there will be some top notch advise.

Im worried ive got testicular cancer.

Ive had some pain for a while now and ive just googled 'symptoms for testicular cancer and of a list of about 6...ive got these two...

3.a dull ache in the groin or lower abdomen
    4. pain or discomfort (which may come and go) in the testicle or scrotum

This is been going on for a few weeks now.

Obviously I have to go to the doctors and get it seem to. I keep thinking of lance armstrong and how he kept putting it off saying it was nothing and it development into a brain tumour.
But....Im horrendously self consious as it is...and whapping em out infront of a man...now come on!...and yes, I know that shouldnt matter because the doctor has done this kind of stuff hundreds of times before....But you know where Im coming from.

So...has anybody had any similar pain and it turned out to be nothing? Or has anybody actually had it?

    Thanks, Al.

Al, just go to the doctors a.s.a.f.p and get the boys checked out. Two things: odds are it's nothing but if it is the quicker you get checked out the better. Good luck as ever! Keep us posted please

Al, isn't there a walk in centre you can go to immediately? Me and your uncle Merry are worried about you. Don't put it off

Al, don't delay get to the docs asap.
It may well be nothing serious - lets hope that is the case.
But if it is testicular cancer, the good news is that the disease is very treatable and there is an almost 100% recovery rate IF IT IS TREATED EARLY!!

I had a lump a few years back. Like you I wasn't keen on having them felt by a man but it's just one of those things. Hope it turns out to be nothing.
