Yes, thanks to Otley A.C. for that - a grand little run. Everything I'd been told about the boggy nature of this race turned out to be true ... highly entertaining That Copper Dragon is lovely ale, I had a drive out to Pateley after the race and had a pint in the George. Felt it only right to drink my freebie bottle when I got home, it compares well with the draught version.Martyn

Race-won beer has to be enjoyed while you can still feel the race in your legs. It's the law.

I "jogged" round Turner Landscape last Sunday after Blisco. I'm using that as my excuse for not running Round Hill

Going to an easy run around the Yorkshireman Ultra-Half route instead - it might also mean a kick-start of sorts to my supposed marathon training...

Good conditions for today's race with the bogs being reasonably benign. Myself and DinoF are still wondering why we bothered with 2 layers though as got rather warm, particularly after the fast long descent from the summit. I'm not alone in saying I was grateful for the ice and water at CP3. Thanks to all at Otley AC for organising and marshalling etc. Lots of photos on facebook....https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?...0986630&type=1
