Can't make it I'm afraid cos I'm in London - think I might have found a race in Epping forest though!

Good luck with this. I would have done it but by 12 I expect to be somewhere around Y garn on the 3000's. Hope the weather holds!

If i'd not been injured i'd definitely have come over and done this.

I used to live in the Bay and am really curious as to where this will go.

I reckon it's got to head up to Pwllycrochan Woods (near the Welsh Mountain Zoo) and down the valley (can't remember the name) up there.

There's plenty of off road in Colwyn Bay -This will be a great litte trail race.

Please will someone come back on the thread after the race and tell me the route.

    Cheers in advance

Ahh!! I'll be missing this one as well. I'll be doing the World Champs uphill trial race at Llanberis on Sunday so will have to save my legs for that one.
Shame as I'm really enjoying trail running. Hope the event will get a good turn out.
I'll send a circular notice to my clubmates about it right now!!

I contacted the race organiser and he (Richard Watson) kindly e-mailed me a pdf of the race route.
If anyone wants a copy they can pm me and I'll send it (I think thats how it works. New to this forum stuff!)

Thanks to Richard, family and helpers for a very well organised race, well marked and a good venue for cakes at the end.

about 45 I think, Richard needed 30 runners to 'break even' financially, the rest of the proceeds he was going to donate to the Cancer Unit at Glan Clwyd hospital. For a first time event it was a good turnout
