I'm in ambleside AC and am sure that no-one from ambleside has done it before. In fact I wasn't aware that anyone but steve parr had done it. I'd be interested to see mal renshaw's schedule. Just under 38 hours is impressively fast,certainly significantly faster than I could do, even if I had been fully fit and had better weather.
