Thanks for all your hard work Clair. As you know I had withdrawn anyway. Please forward my entry fee to the local Mountain Rescue Team, if this has not already been done. I hope to do it next year.

The Gravy Pud is currently on at the moment. This may change and a final decission will be made on Friday evening/Saturday morning. Obviously, a race like the Gravy Pud doesn't present the same issues as a longer event like TT. The next five days forecast is mentioning wetter weather come Saturday, but I will make the decission on the race at the times stated considering all factors, but most importantly the safety of athletes and marshalls.

Thanks for your hard work Clair, sorry the weather conspired against us. Donate my fee please and I'll see you next year.

Hi Clair
Again, thanks for all your hard work in organising this year. Was really looking forward to a snow fest but definitely understand why you've taken this decision. Was also slightly concerned as its a wee drive from western cumbria. Here's to the return of wet and windy conditions next year! Happy for my entry fee to be donated too.

Ps the team has been busy today, we have one section thats been involved in a major incident around the A57 just east of the M1 another is on standby in the Penistone Area supporting Ambulances, the rest of the team are also on stand by incase people become stranded.
Nee bother Ian a fiver is hardly killing me even though I am a Yorkshireman!
Funnily enough I have just e-mailed Clair and in that I mentioned that from the pics on the news it looks like WHMRT have enough to contend with at the moment.
Best of luck.
Looks like glorious conditions for the Gravy Pud on Sunday blue skys 1 degree
