    "Hardly likely to happen..."
I know someone who was up for prizes in English and Scottish champs last year, having completed the latter without setting out to at start of the year (key factor: two races doubled-up as British champs).
The Scottish "blazers" (none of whom I've seen in blazers - many are active runners) after, I believe, confirming he'd pick up the English medal, omitted him from their final champs results, in accordance with the rules. All very fair & reasonable, no hurt feelings etc.

Moral seems to be run more than one national champs, if that's what you want to do - but don't get yourself into the medal positions. Not difficult to do in my case.

What a pointless, small minded, patronizing thread! I concur with Chris/Liam.

You do realise my last comment was not at all serious, I was just highlighting the stupidity of her postings.

The thread didn't start out like that Wheeze, I was just looking for an answer.
I've just decided I don't trust you anymore.

Don't worry Iain and fellrunner, I can see your intentions were honorable.

Hypothetically I could represent either Scotland or England or the Isle of Man - we had a manx fellrunning team representing the Isle of Man (however there's red tape issues with that), My Dad's Scottish, so theoretically I could run for Scotland, and the Isle of Man comes under the English heading in the eyes of the Athletics association (despite having our own government).

There's just one problem - I'm too crap to get on any of the teams!!! (apart from maybe the manx one if I went on any of the trips)
    I'm so naughty!!!!!!
