Thanks for the support, didn't know I would get so much! I reckon I could do a race on the 7th April, unless it's a fell run. Not quite sure I will be up to it by then. In time though I hope to be !

Concerning the dress... no, he didn't wash it, the cheeky mongrel!

Definitely don't get obsessed with the watch. Just run as you feel and enjoy it. Welcome to the gang .

21 years ago Mrs PeeJay decided if you can't beat 'em...join 'em. She began by running round the block and worked up the distance to compete several times in the Haworth Hobble and the London Marathon which she last did two years ago. She still runs nearly every day, more than the old man unfortunately. She gets a lift to work and runs home up to 7 miles. She's never been quick, but thats no problem, she gets out and puts others to shame.

Stick at it. Consistancy is the key.
Now't wrong wi me, its t'others.

Nice one AGM! I'm not one for corporate slogans but the Nike exhortation to 'just do it' is very accurate. You've started now and there will be no stopping you! We shall need a new category at prize-giving....first spouse who got into it because of significant other (FSWGIIBOSO)......err or something like that!

I have a feeling I too will become a little obsessed with running but the London marathon seems a long way at the moment!!! I'm really looking forward to going out tonight with Andy coaching me along my little mile round the block. Apparently it's the happy hormones which give you the 'bug'!

I quite like having the watch as it gives me a target to work on next time I go for my run as I want to improve on my time (I'm one of those people who needs to see that I'm getting better in order to keep at it).

I think soon enough I shall up on those fells, coming last but I don't care! If I begin rubbish 'things can only get better' I suppose!

Right... off to do my run...

PS: Loving that I have such support out there!!!! You are a friendly of bunch!!!

Well, FSWGIIBOSO sure does trip off the tongue! Reckon it will catch on as the award to get?

I came back from work tonight, to find AGM had busted out a 9:09 just moments earlier! She's becomming more addicted than I am. I'm doing all I can to put her off...I'm no longer going to have anybody to hold my tracksuit/drinks at races at this rate!!
